The first weekend of this lovely Spring! The weather has been quite nice actually, and I could actually feel the hot heat of the sun blaze onto my face yesterday while taking a drive. It was wonderful and put a giant smile on my face, quite frankly.

The first day of Spring is just a few days away. FINALLY!!
I can't wait for bare legs, sleeveless tops and denim shorts!! Although we'll be getting a lot of rain the next couple months here in Vancouver :(, so I may be a little early on all the excitement and eagerness for warm sunshine, blah blah blah... So anyways, I needed some inspiration to keep my hopes for Spring in check. But lets not get too carried away now, scarfs and pea coats and tights are still essentials until this Vancouver weather heats up.

Erin: just perfect, and her shades are killer, duh.
I have been craving a new scarf for sometime now and I have seen a few I like, but the purple color of the one from this second picture is gorgeous. It's a definite must have!
I loved all the hair and make-up from the last Louis Vuitton collection, but this model is just stunning, plus her hair is crazy, in a good way of course.
Peaches: I want your outfit, please/now.
Lady in red: Could this outfit be anymore PERFECT! Red coat, fringe clutch!! Are you serious!!???!!
MK: you know it.

room with a view

My bedroom has been a total disaster the past few weeks and I have been meaning to organize and clean out my closet for ever. Clothes all over the floor, tights and tees achingly falling from the dresser drawers and my art nook cluttered with dust bunnies and half loved paintings :(. Mitch and I have had our mattress on the living room floor since Valentines, when we had our little slumber party, and have been dreading putting it back into our bedroom. It's just too comfortable and it's perfect for playing video games :). We now call our bedroom "the dungeon" or the "ice cave", because of how cold the room gets at times. I'm getting tired of having a wasted room, so this will be the ultimate Spring cleaning project. I've collected tons of images from the Selby and a few from Domino as inspiration to help get my room back into shape.

case of the mondays?

I stumbled upon Cari Ann Waymans Flickr site while catching up on Aritzias blog a few days ago. If you haven't check out her photography you should do it, like NOW! I love the moody feeling in every photograph. The lights, the colors, everything, perfectly in it's place. She has truely wonderful work and I encourage you to discover it. Oh, and she also has a wicked livejournal.

I'll be getting a pretty big tax return in a couple of weeks and I'm dying to buy a new digital camera!! Something with amazing picture and sound quality, but nothing too expensive. I want to stay under $400.00 if possible. I've seen a few that I like, but I am open to any suggestions. So, what kind of camera do you use?

I could always ditch the camera idea and buy a Macbook, (yum!) but I want to be able to have some dough left over for my Spring/Summer wardrobe :p hehe.

My three year anniversary is this Friday. (oh, sweet love)
Plans include:
- River Rock Hotel (dinner, slot machines, Nearly Neil, drunken swimming)
- Science World
&
- Shopping Granville Strip
