[Tank: American Apparel; Skirt: Wilfred; Belt: Urban Outfitters] I gotta get some better posses.
I hope you're all having a lovely sunny weekend. Today I'm going shopping with my two best friends, then Mitch is meeting me for dinner downtown. We'll probably catch a movie too, I want to see something funny. Is Adventureland supposed to be any good? I heard mixed reviews. Anyways...

Excuse the awkward posture...this was taken very quickly before Mitch and I did our usual Sunday outing, which includes Starbucks, Chapters and Save-on-Foods. :) I bought a little book of love poems by a collection of writers and Mitch just grabbed a spot to read his Skeptic magazine.
I've come down with a bit of a head cold I think. Unless I'm developing allergies or something... sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes...dry throat. FUN FUN FUN!
On the brighter side... The weather yesterday was unbelievable! So warm and sunny, I loved it, but had to work. :( However, Mr. Weather man tells me that it'll be almost 25 degrees on the weekend, which excites me and worries me at the same time. Exciting because I have the weekend off! [BBQs, beers, late nights on my patio star gazing.] Worries me because this early warmth may mean a short summer... :( No one wants that, now do they!?
Sorry for the short post, but I have to get ready for my shift tonight.
What a pretty day of bright blue sky! I woke up to the smell of fresh cut grass, sunshine peeking through my curtains, and a smile on my face. But my mood got crushed by a horrible customer at work.
:(
Here's my rant: What do you say to a complete stranger who feels the need to comment on your weight, and in a blatantly obvious and rude way? Suggesting that I should eat the remaining food left on his plate from lunch while staring me up and down. Silently suggesting that I may have an eating disorder.
RUDE.
"I left all that [potatoes and garlic toast] for you, you should eat it on your break."
Are you serious!? NO THANKS, JERK. I just sorta laughed it off and walked away. And then get this... [5 minutes later]
Me: "Would you like some dessert today? Tea, coffee?"
Jerk: "HAHAHA, does it look like I need dessert? Nope, looks like YOU could use some though..."
Yea, that's right. Apparently this guy thinks he can tell me what to eat. He clearly needs his head checked or something. I would never say or do anything like that to anyone, regardless if they're a size 2 or size 12. Where does he get off? Who does this guy think he is!? I just walked away and got them the check and didn't even say 'thank you'. I was choked and completely speechless.
I got off work early today, ran a few errands, then ate a yummy sushi lunch and read my W magazine. I had no dessert.
Anyways, thanks for hearing me out. I'm off to buy that new camera!!!! I'm so stoked. :D xoLily.

Chuck Palahniuk is one of my all time favorite authors. I haven't read his book "Choke" but seeing the movie was enough, I guess. It was hilarious and witty and tragic and depressing and amazing all at the same time. In a strange way, it could very well be the greatest date movie EVER. But be warned, I felt totally depressed and awkward after seeing this movie, and for two days after. But still... Watch this movie.
