Wonderland of Snow.

Winter has finally hit my stale and sleepy city. It's been freezing cold out the past few weeks, and more snow is expected on Sunday. 15 more centimeters of this wonderful powdery icing. All I can think about doing is building snow forts, watching icicles drip, drip dripping, baking cookies, watching them crisp, and sipping hot chocolate while reading my books. I can't even remember the last white Christmas in Vancouver, but let me tell you, this one I won't forget.

My sister just got engaged and guess what! I get to be the Maid of Honor. How exciting is that! What a lovely early Christmas present she has received; the ring, WOW... it sparkles like nothing I've ever seen. I am so thrilled for her, well, everyone is.

Visitors

Matthew came for a visit today with Jason. An unexpected surprise. He spoke about his travels and plans for the future. I can't remember the last time I'd seen him, but there was defiantly something very different, and changed about him, but still a familiar feeling of youthfulness. Funny how life works. I sometimes wonder if the universe is playing on my team.

More Mondays.

I don't normally finish the things I start. And I can't promise that this will be any different, but something in this head of mine shouted "Try Blogging Again!" So this is where I find myself on a Monday evening, cup of tea in hand. Because as of now, this mug is the only inspiring thing that's going for me. The last Blog I had started out wonderfully and ended, well, with tears, one less "friend", and a some what broken heart. I couldn't stop anyone from reading, and I wasn't going change what I wanted to say, and boy did I say it. Although my intentions this time around are not necessarily the same, shit, I can't even really say what my intentions are, but I guess I'll have to wait and see. But this time, guaranteed, no broken hearts.
